Made an attempt on the gun. Some care on orientation/facing needed for the reinforced parts & the crescent [243] as it appears to be mismarked on [241].
In the instructions it is shown ends down but [241] has a white placemark with points up. It will fit both ways but I went with points down in the end.

The barrel [245] has a white joining strip which I thought about switching to lighter-weight copier paper as it feels a bit much but after shaping thought it should work. This makes the barrel too thick where joined & even where it's been pre-shaped, once glued & dried it has a noticeble impact on the curvature as it wants to flatten too much.

This also applies to the tabs on the parts needed for the turret. Thickness & overlap do show up. I'm now opting to remove & replace internally with lighter paper joining tabs on a bunch of these parts.
