PzKpfw Panther 5 by Halinski

Recently starter to build a 1/25 scale Panther by Halinski. This tank is complete with interior and is a definite challenge to build. Attached photos show my progress so far. one serious problem I am contending with is that I used mat paper (the kind used to frame pictures) since it was the correct thickness. This stuff has a major delamination problem when cutting or punched. Am working my way through it patching and re-gluing as necessary.

The first photo is the frame with the torsional suspension system installed.

Next is the engine details

Third is the nearly completed turret

last is the interior of the turret viewed from below.

This looks great, Roger! I take it that this is your "tank in progress" that you are bringing to the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center "Military History Through Paper Modeling" event (1 April 2017 Paper Modelers' Event at the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center).

Between this and your 2001 Space Station, you are going to make a real splash.
