For those considering purchasing the model the price is $34. but if I am not mistaken the article states that it is printed on A3 paper. This is the stopper for me otherwise I would consider building it.

Yes at 1/6 scale it needs lots of added detail, but you can by nuts and bolts at your local hardware store. I would also paint the model in a camo scheme and add appropriate markings.
At 1/6 scale the main gun would be a little larger than 20mm (20.8mm)

Jim, the pages do appear to be A3.

Correct Jim
Looks like $45.50 CAD/roughly $35USD exchange (to me).

And I would like to correct his FAQ section, but I can't add comments.

Hes also asking for royalties if you build and sell a finished model.

I'd love to make it, and Jim you are right - the detailing stuff would be available at the local hardware store.

But what to do with it when made?

Be best to make it on commission. I managed to do this with Tamiya R/C tanks and cars - I sorely wanted to make them, but couldn't afford them and knew they would rather dust after I had played a bit. Doing it on commission I had "free kits" and got paid for making them!

In this case, I think I will stick with my 1/35 scale non-paper kit from Meng. I already have it and it even has a dozer blade and blinky red lights.

BTW, Atamjeet has saturated facebook with his T-90 tank build so much that I'm getting bored seeing it. I'd rather see his next project in works. Maybe. Unless it's another T-90.

Sorry, being too negative. I'll go crawl back under my rock now....

Kevin,

I showed the model to my wife and she asked the same question. My response was "I could display it on the dining room table". Before I could say the last syllable in table, she asked me I could spell divorce. . .

'6 foot' and 'paper model' just don't seem to go down too well with people of the general female persuasion. What is needed is a female paper modeller to build a large model, it might help, but most probably not.

what to do with such large model? C'mon guys! spam facebook and internets with it, handle it cuddle it, hold it above ones head and make million pics of it, even if it is quite simple thing. pple here build far more complex stuff than this "guru" fellow and dont expect praise and money for it
