GPM T55 Tank

Hi all

Im a silent member of the frum for many years. This is one of my paper model. As many modelers do, I build the model and then paint them, more likely as plastic modelers do.

The Tanks is a very nice one, the difficulty is moderate. I paint it in a Syrian scheme, without any marks.

Thanks Don,

Here are some images of the body. It is painted. I added a weathering effect with pigments

Lots of nice detail. It should really pop once painted. You're doing fine, please continue to post pics of your build.

Looks like it'll be a well-used Syrian tank.

some more photos

Thank you Elliott!

This is the painted body. I tried to make the effect of sand and mud all over the body. Hope you will like it

Sorry but I think you have overdone the weathering.

Smile

Hi Mark

In general, you are right. It's may be overdone.

But the Syrian T55 are in service for more than 50 years, and they are in very bad condition. Also, in the mudy and dusty enviroment in the Golan hights you can find, during combat or training contitions, tanks in much more worse shape.
