1/16 Hawk missile
I finally made it far along enough in the CAD world such that I have enough of the skillset to begin designing models. So I started with a 1/16 Hawk missile. It'll be available in the downloads area once the mods approve it.
Offsite Link: Model Plans It is my first attempt at designing a model, but it seems to have worked out well enough. I'm debating what to start designing next. I know what I want to get to at the end, but it'll take progressively more complex designs before I'm ready to do that. |

I never realized that the hawk had an area rule body. Looks good, keep up the good work. Maybe a Nike next if you want to stick with rockets?

Like the F-102........ the thickness of the area where the the wings attached causes drag above Mach 1, because they forgot to figure in the wings as part of the fuselage........

This is one I will definitely build. My father was an instructor for Raytheon to the US Army, Saudi Army, and Iranian Army (When the Shaw was in power). He also helped with the upgrades to the improved Hawk.

Beautiful! That really does need an Estes motor in it!
