Filtz Armoured Tractor (1:50)

I didn't have an image of the built model for the Landships II download page for the Filtz tractor. Decided to build the model so I could get an image...

It's a reasonably simple model to build and doesn't take long (a couple of evenings - max.). I messed up the wheels a bit but they are tolerable (in the dust with the light behind them). Couldn't do paper handles on the doors and went for thin copper wire.

I found an image of a Filtz tractor which I've added to show what they used as the base for the armoured version. I like the two seats so you can swap seats if you want to drive backwards - would be useful for some people who apparently can't back their cars in car parks.

Very effective, enough of what I think is weathering to emphasise armour plates and yet not to the level of making the model look 'busy' and overworked. Great.
