Part 58 front tires and wheels. Other than having to trim the inner wheel discs, no build issues for me. Not enough disc parts for the spare provided under the 58 parts numbering scheme. There are two other extra tire and wheel assemblies provided in the optional parts sheets, so I still have a way to address this easily.

I added wheel bolts/lug nuts. None were provided that I saw. Also made copies of the side wall letters and added them after shaping the tires a bit.

The krylon black primer I used cured inconsistently, which actually helped the tires look more realistic.

Coming along nicely... Can't wait to see them mounted.

I'm so jealous... you only had to make 3 wheels. Can I send you some of mine? There's plenty to go around.

I still have the trailer and all it's wheels to build so no need for your jealousy...

Part 59 front wheel hubs.

Well I had to pop the wheel bolts I added to the tires off as there was an outer ring with bolts as part of the hub assemblies.

The hub spokes took some noodling to figure out and the ends of these also needed to be trimmed just a little bit to get them to fit inside the wheel rims.

Otherwise the build up of these wasn't bad.

Now I have reached a bit of a milestone as the drivetrain and chassis is mostly complete. I now must decide if I want to add all the "plumbing" detail to it or just carry on with the next step, the front fenders.

Finally done - great progress.

It will be a pity to lose all this detail. Are you go going to try and make the body detachable?

Great project here, I hope you get as much out of building as I do watching.

Looking good, those wheels came out great.

It's a shame to have to lose so much detail when covering sections up like that, I had the same thing with the Scud, so much detail lost... but it's here in the build photos, and adds to the overall sense of satisfaction when you finish the model, knowing it's there.
