"parts" 111 and 112 - Pioneer tools - over half the parts were scratch built or copied from other kits.

Nice job creating the tools, Greg. That's the nice thing about paper kits - if needed, you can copy parts out of your unbuilt stash.

Parts 83 - Windshield

What a mess. The parts are there, but the ease of build is not. The frame parts are all thin and fragile and rely on the "glass" for strength. the drivers side upper windshield pane is supposed to be hinged. That certainly did not happen after my first attempt to make the frame hinge did not work out.

The whole unit itself is supposed to be hinged at the bottom so the unit can be laid flat over the hood. That didn't happen either.

I'm not particularly happy with it but I'll live with it.

Parts 84 - 86 are the soft top. I said no. The thought of building up another spindly frame and then covering it with the top makes me ill.

On to the bed...

Parts 87 - bed floor and sides

All the parts were there and all the parts fit right. Nice change of pace but I know this will not last.

Yep, the design is awful, but you pulled it well.
I myself succeeded to join this hinges, but glued it and also the whole windshield still, afterwards

Thanks Igor for the compliment!

Continuing with the rear box build, parts 88 consisted of the front box wall and bottom mounting brackets. Forgot prebuild picture of parts, sorry. Lots of missing parts but they were all the edge strips for the main parts so paint will be the substitute for them. Part 88j was not found by me on any of the drawings, I figured they are part of the bracing for the rear mounts. They are the ones without lightening holes.

Storage boxes - part 89

Many parts are missing including the inner box walls and drawer guides.

So I had to do a little bit of engineering, drafting and scratchbuilding to the box interiors.

The doors were fiddly, especially the last hinge I made (hinge pin was not cooperating). I hope they remain operational since I did the box interiors. If not, I hope they fail before I buildup the drawers and stuff that goes inside.

Good job on the interior of the stowage compartments. All the extra work will be well worth it in the end.
