Part 69 - steering

I'm not so sure about all this. I fear additional surgery to get a good interface between steering column and dash.

I replaced the main shaft with a piece of aluminum tube.

Steering wheel and small cylinder assemblies will be installed later.

If i remember well, the drum behind the road just doesnt have place to land.
I left it aside.
Do you plan to make the mechanizm moveable? With the cylinder

Right know the steering works and the axle pivots. I can only hope the added cylinder does not prevent further movement.

Thanks Don. You'll get to see it in person in a few weeks! 😁

Part 70 Dashboard

Dashboard itself built up with no issues.

I did have to cut a relief on the lower left edge for steering column access.

I also had to cut the steering column post free and move it down for dashboard clearance. No pictures of this quite yet though.

For your reading pleasure, I have submitted an English translation of the Instructions to the download section. It is 40 pages of glorious google translated confusion and repetition.
