work on the suspension is done. And issue is to get all the 10 blocks the same, specially for the height, wouldn't be that great if some wheels don't touch the ground . I create a second tool for that matter ; I adjust each part by simply adding some paper under the "spring".
for having a perfect alignment with the track, I had the idea to glue them on the track, then on the hull. It's not practical, also they're flexible enough to allow some adjustment latter.
So while the glue dry, I'm working on the turrets, the 2 secondary are done. If nothing hard, I had to make some adjustment (some shrinking and few cut)

I started the main gun alongside the tracks.

this week I worked on riveting the hull and the tracks. It's heavy material that doens't bend easily, I almost break several links few times, so I "pre" form the tracks into 2 sets before painting them. Then I added the bumper (hep, more rivets, that's an endless game )

Work an the main turret should be done by the end of the week-end, after that, the exhaust pipers, few details, a little weathering and it's done

You're doing a terrific job on this model. I love these multi-turret tanks. Unfortunately for me, I can only view your thumbnails. Photobucket blocks my ability to view the full size photos because I use an adblocker. I need to break out the magnifying glass, LOL.

thanks rockpaperscissor. I too love those dinosaurs ; I have the t-28 on stack, I'm probably going to something else next, but definitively this year.

I know, I switched to photobucket because I wanted a place where I can have all my work as projects, share them with friends and this was the only site or tool that suited my needs; Then photobucket put that crap on limit and 1000 ads a page .
But even with adblocked (I'm using too so I didn't noticed all the ads) you should be able to see the pic ; they're 1280px wide.

I will put back all pics of this build internally in a next post ; meanwhile, I'm looking for a new host. I'm trying to avoid building my own gallery tool/site but guess I'll have to do it !

Back to the build.
Main turret. There's some differences between "skin" and structure, anyway, I prefer to do an edge gluing, then put on the frame ; in pic some rivet are missing.
And the last (main) part, the exhaust pipes. (you can too see the "good work" I did on those 4 air intake it might end in a tutorial, but not in the 'to follow" section....)

The model is almost finished, few tools to add, some weathering (perhaps)

I built the ICM plastic kit of this and really had fun. Threw it out recently when I was spring cleaning (stuff has to go someday!) or I would have posted some pics.
