Pm akm

hi guys

i finished the exams today and now i am back to modeling

to start with i am going to make the paper manufacturing AKM i like it since i c it everyday (our army's standard rifle)

no pics now since my cell phone is recharging

hi sorry for not posting a pic

so here's how's it going so far

most of the barrel is done (upper and lower hg plates remaining ) i intend on filling them up with styrofoam for durability

so here's are the pics (it's a dry fit) i also intend to paint the metal parts black so they would look more "real"

Nice start on the AKM ultra. Where the gas tube meets the barrel looks like a tricky assembly. You pulled it off well.

Painting is a great idea. Added realism. No doubt this will look like the real thing once you're finished. Keep up the good work!

well i kinda made a thing the came out of coincidence

i brushed it with burnt sienna but the brush had black marks (from using it with black)

so it gave me a nice wood effect

btw :it has no wrinkles it's just the light

so here are the pics

Real nice...the effect from having the black paint on the brush is very effective!

How do you find the fit of the parts in this design thus far?

Have to say your build is outstanding, looking forward to seeing more!
