A couple of Spanish Civil War weirdos @ 1/72

I decided to take an "armory break" before going into my next biplane build, and my choice are the following couple of Spanish Civil War designs:
The first one is the recently "found in the internet" Benach Armored Tractor, see: New Spanish Civil War Models on Landships II

And the second is an Hispano-Suiza Armored car from the little known Spanish publisher Estampería popular: Presentación

There are no instructions accompanying neither the Benach Tractor nor the Hispano A/C models, so I'll include a step by step building log for them.
I printed both in 160gr paper, the tractor is 1/72 scale right away, but the Hispano comes in a scale between 1/35 and 1/25, so I had to look for the wheel base of the carrier vehicle - a Fordson 1930 3 Ton 6 wheel truck - and reduce accordingly the original plate (A3+ size, which I had to cut in several pieces in order to have it properly scanned). I also took advantage to copy some details to add extra pieces for layering.
Work on the tractor goes smoothly, pieces fit accurately; only the superstructure fits a bit loosely to the chassis but is easily corrected adding an extra layer of card between them.

More on the tractor's superstructure; on to the forward part of it, which must have been a devilish place to be posted in combat: a cramped place in a narrow platform along the engine sides.
There were different attempts to convert Benach tractors into fighting machines, other prototypes appear in after action scenes, one with battle damage and other after being captured by nationalist forces, but this one may have just been used for propaganda purposes.

I think you had to be very brave and insane to get on and fight in those machines. You still look great your work, very neat everything.

Today I shifted my effort to the Hispano-Suiza. I just assembled 4 pieces of the original model, that after duplicating and dissecting multiplied to some 20+ parts.
Also the forward hull part has - not counting the auxiliary tabs - nearly twenty fold lines!
Anyway, everything fitted as expected, with minor forced adjustments in the bumper joint to the hull.
Also note the unorthodox flat bottom, taking advantage of the chain screen that hangs from chassis and hides the undercarriage.
