Mark 1 World of Tanks

The Mark 1 came into service in August 1916 and was considered the first tank in the world. British origin, was designed to cross trenches, travel on difficult roads, resist the impact of light weapons and transport ammunition to the troops. rhomboidal shape, long caterpillars and the main armament was located in barbetas on both sides. It was considered successful although it had many defects and for its 8 crew members it must have been hell to be there inside. The model, another jewel of Wot, you already know my admiration for its designs.
Part 1 helmet: composed of the central body and two sides, simply cut, reinforce and paste

Part 2: caterpillars.
In these caterpillars do not use the method with thread since the caterpillar has support surface in all its route. What I did was join and cut each link so that it was not flat. Each link leads as another smaller one, I do not know what it's called, it would be the piece that links the links. Many cuts, edges to paint, and paste one by one. Fun. It's all for now, we'll see what follows. Thanks
Sergio

Thanks to all guys. Michael, the model is in 1/50, all the WoT designs that I saw are on this scale, except one that is also in 1/25 and superdetallado.El Mark 1 was a pretty big tank, with the tail of turning almost reached 10 meters

A very instructive thread, Sergio. Your photos are great, and clearly illustrate your build techniques. The model is looking terrific.
