Hellboy Good Samaritan build

Hello all,

First, I'd like to thank all of the modelers in here and other sites for the inspiration to take on this project. Special thanks to UHU02 and Mousemuffins for providing the information needed to make it happen.

If this looks familiar, it should. I followed Mousemuffins instructions using UHU02's patterns.

So, I used whatever card I could find. Mostly cereal boxes! And a lot of super glue. I think the clerk at the dollar store thinks I'm sniffing it..

Here is the next set of photos.

Majority of the Samaritan is complete. This is one big gun! Still needs sanding, paint and some minor finishing details. All in all, I'm pretty happy with my first build. It took long enough! I must have glued my fingers together a dozen times.

My son and I collaborated on the grip. He modeled the grip from an old Charter Arms Bulldog .44 special I once owned. He'll be doing the painting and making the display stand. Can't wait to see what he comes up with!

Here are a couple of the shells I've put together for the Samaritan. The shells are card and the rounds are balsa. I'm going to sand and primer them this evening..
