Actually the only problem with specifications was the lenght. I used the WC3 weapon carrier specifications which you can find on wikipedia(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dodge_WC_series). That's why I had to extend the frame. It was too short for a WC6. There would be no place for the engine section.

There're way too many US Army vehicles around.
USN vehicles are one of the most forgotten in model building. Especially in paper/cardboard. This WC6 has always been my favorite American WWII vehicle. Of course in the US Navy markings from Pearl Harbor 1941.

Next scratch project will be a Toyota "Su-Ki" Japanese WWII amphibious truck, also in 1/25.
But before I start it, I'd like build some planes.

Thumbs up

Very nice result. Looks like all of that head scratching and searching for elusive reference material worked out as well as it could have.

Outstanding work, and a great way to remember Pearl Harbor.

2022

Four years...
After all this time, today I finally found a nice photo(taken in Oahu) for the background.
This USN Dodge WC6 deserved this one special picture.
