WAK M3A1 Stuart

Next up is this project. One of the winners of a tie opinion poll within my family.

Got laser cut tracks to help with the build.

Formers cut and assembled. Fit was excellent with the exception of part W7. The top and bottom edges were tapered but needed cut off to improve fit.

Started putting on hull skins. Fit is good.

Had to make a grate and painted the inside.

Grate painted US Army olive drab ANA 1943-45. Maybe not technically correct fir 1942 vintage model but it color matches better than Olive drab #9 1941-43

Hi All,

And hi, modelperry. Good start to your 1:25 Stewart. However, I am a little concerned about the 52 star flag on the tank's hull. Maybe you can source a proper 48 star version for your WW II tank.

I've always liked the Stewart. I might not want to go into battle in one, but I'd love to have one in my garage.

Best of luck in your build.

Score and fold,

Thumb Dog
