Renault R35 Tank

Hello papermodelers.

Thank you Don.

i updated my model of Renault R 35 :
Better painting and aditionals details nd here is the result: stil 1/66 scale
This tank was an infantry tank, should work along B1bis,
when somua35 worked with H35 (cavalry tanks)
So the R35 wasn't speedy but quite well armoured, after the french campaign captured tanks was dispatched to axis country by German or transformed into different other vehicules.
Even some was involved into post war syria/israel combats.
but for today i propose you a Frenchy one :

Great designs, MonsieurE! We rarely see any WWII French vehicles.

Do you plan any French military trucks or armored cars as well?

Interesting Berliet. I have not seen it before.
Renault AHN would a nice idea for a truck and probably quite simple to design in paper.

Agree the Renault AHN is a really easy to design

Unfortunetly this truck didn't see action with French Army because it was mass produce in 1941 and was indeed used German army

but his predecessor is also in my todo list there is hundred of truck used by french army
the most famous was the citroen U23.

Renault AMR35/ACG1

Hello all

Just a pic of a new fresh paper tank coming straight from the French "atelier" :

The Renault AMR35/ACG1

had a fairly thin 25 mm armor buta high fuel consumption 45 minutes of off-road capability. The running gear inherited from the R35, was poorly adapted to the speed and big consumer of energy.
The main quality of this machine was its main armament a 47mm antitank gun (the same as the somua s35) installed under a two-seater turret, unique case for a French armored vehicle.

this Tank saw also combat with belgium army.
