Light armored vehicle FAI, in 1/50
Greetings to all.The FAI was a light armored mounted on a chassis of the GAZ A, copy under license of the FORD A, was equipped with a DT 7.62mm machine gun. Vulnerable to the fire of heavy shrapnel, guns and mines, had some advancements , was one of the first to use welded plates, and pneumatic tires filled with cork that allowed him to walk even when drilled.
The model is from the Rototehnikpaper page, they have several interesting models. The link was published by Darwin in a thread a few months ago.It is very small, barely about 7cm, as a complement it brings a DRP-4 in its trailer.Despite its size reduced in total brings 95 pieces. The design is very good, everything fits very well and has some resemblance to a WoT.The result leaves me very satisfied again. I show you something of the WIP. |

The final.I do not know why the laser prints are darker than what is seen in the file. Then I improved the base, I did it in less than 2hs and with what I had on hand, to have an idea of what it would look like in a base .Then build the D-12 that comes in the same file.Thank you all.PD today it rains here, when I improve I will take pictures abroad.

I like this one very much, I made a plastic vac-u-form kit of it long time ago and have the robototehnik printed to 1/72 in waiting, so it's a pleasure to see it so nicely assembled here in the forum.
Congratulations! |

Great job! I've built several models from Robototehnik and have never been disappointed.

You did a great job of that all around.
Super model and very very good building. And, I really like the base - simple, but it sets it off nicely.!

Fantastic job. Very clean, especially good work with fenders.
It's nice to see a WWII armored car in your collection.
