Did you have an issue with printing this model? I notice that the coloured areas on the hull look uneven as if the parts were printed at low resolution.

The beutepanzer version of the model prints very well with very fine detail.

Regards,

Charlie

Hi there
This only the second ever card model ive done.
I printed it out using a oki Color laser printer that I use for printing my photography proofs on the printer is more than capable of producing stunning photos bit not for printing card models it seems lol.
however i did use cheap quality 200gsm paper and compounded by a high quality camera and blown up about 4x actual size gave it a grainyness that you cant see on the model but is evident in the photo. these wot models are more for me to practice my skills on before embarking on a paid for model
Cheers Meece

That makes sense - colour laser prints tend to be a bit fragile and lose toner particles if handled. I guess you could try fixing the surface with an acrylic spray. A light spray coat also seals the surface so excess glue doesn't mark the coloured surface.

Regards,

Charlie

Thanks for that I might try one of the ink jet printers for the next project although tbh the fading isn't evident on the finished model lol camera see's all though
