Dear Kurt! As always your builds, so clean and precise, are absolutely amazing.
Another little jewel is growing under your hands.
After all that bolt work you can also consider painting the whole model after completion. The final result should be comparable (if not superior) to any plastic model.

Now the planetary gears, for the visible side, the openings are cut out and pasted with 0.1 mm gray paper behind, in between 1.5 mm Finn cardboard ...

between the wheels glue the spacers, and provided the wheel with rivets.

A hodgepodge of hangers and wheels ... are placed
Now 46 wheels parts plus 140 rivets ... the hand-cut running surfaces are glued and dyed with paper strips
Two wheels each are connected by spacers (0.9 mm)

The next series production - four times suspension for the wheels ... a 1.2 mm steel wire is a glued ...
... after good drying on the suspension glue.

Wonderful finish, best appreciated with low-angle lighting.

Perhaps you already talked about this, excuse me if I didn't notice: what is your rivet making technique? It's very effective.
