Oh, my God! I remember in 1975 I had started assembling MM T-34 tracks.... I had finished that process one year later... But I won! :-)

This engine is one of the nicest paper engines I've ever seen built, it is indeed a shame to cover most of it up. If I was to build this kit I'd seriously consider putting it in some kind of workshop diorama with the engine out of the tank.

Great job so far, I can't wait to see more.

Being an engine nut, that Chrysler multi-bank is just fantastic. Great job on it. Almost tempted to get the kit just to rob the engine out of it.

Thank you mates!
Yes, i like engines myself and until now i have a great joy to assemble this one.
That's how it must be planned in 1:25 scale!

А little progress

I installed 5 adapters connecting the radiator tubes to the engine and glued them on the blocks
Here too, each adapter is different due to the different angles at which each unit is attached.
Engineers worked hard and found creative solutions in the assembly of this monster engine :-)

I had to glue all adapters parts edge with edge with unusual angles,
But this is probably because lamination is not suitable due to the inclined angle of the adapter itself.

Really interesting to see another of these Halinski Sherman builds.
Makes me wonder how many others have been made [or started & never finished ]
Great work Igor

talls6 and hirondelle - thank you!
Yes, a lot start this model and never finish or take a time to do this in years
I can't promise anything, but i hope i will steadily and with determination continue the build.

And for the news...
Well, I am sorry, when you assemble at night, tired after work and a kid - you do mistakes.
So did I. A warn everyone that every block is unique and made a mistake myself: mixed the order of adapters and glued them wrong.
Already fixed it and here are correct photos with right order

As a "compensation" I found for you very interesting page with details about Chrysler A57 multibank

Enjoy!

Igor,
I am amazed with your work accuracy.
Regarding being tired and working on the model - I really can relate for this, but you're doing wonderful job .Re.ember what our common friend said, even half an hour of work every day is much better than no work. Keep up, have a coffee, and push it. You can do it.
