Well... back to "boring" stuff

There are few more parts left to finish engine compartment.

Fuel tanks and side screens - assembling is easy, though parts were given in a "hardcore" no tabs way, as must in this high level model
So I joined edges with super glue gel, except the final part with long line, where i used method with inner tabs, that i cut by myself from remaining paper. This gave me easy way to close the tank with just UHU glue.

Glued to its place + draining hose (probably)

And one more thing - rear mesh. Cut it from mosquito mesh, preliminary fixing it with paper tape on drawings.
Painted it, put a frame on and into place

Thank you Boris and Erik

We had holidays, so work on a model slowed down a little. Now I've back, but still nothing new to show.

In the meantime here are few profi pictures of current state, from Modelists Open Club meeting. All the credit goes to Lea Khananashvilli

I could stare at that engine for hours, it's a true work of art on its own. I may get around to building this kit one day, I hope I can do it justice like yourself and David have. I recently bought the Dragon Wagon, this would look great sitting on the back... Dunno if I could bring myself to cover up that engine though.

Happy New Year, everybody!!!

Abir and Jaffro - thank you

Some progress with the model.
I began to assemble the partition that separates the engine compartment and the main hull.
But this is not just a partition, it's full of parts and tubes

First of all, I cut out the partition and adjusted it so that it fit exactly into the place in the bath

Then I switched to the transmission oil cooling system.

Oil tank

Radiators.Their design is interesting
I glued all the parts together and a radiator forms shape with cooling fins.
It should be noted that there is a design error here or it is still assumed that the assembly will be completed 100 percent by the robot ,
because one rib was redundant, otherwise the radiator was too wide. It is necessary to constantly compare the width with the mounting position.

And that's the progress by now

Thanks Boris and Vinalssergio155

Continued to equip the partition

Fire system components

Exhaust pipe from auxiliary generator with auxiliary fuel tank

Also a lot of fire system pipes and tubes that join oil tank with radiators
And the partition is ready!
