Impressive Lex construction. You took this already excellent model to another level on this scale. The detailed and all that work in the chains is wonderful, congratulations!

This build is absolutely gorgeous. You're right about not having patience for all the track links, though. That looks like it could be nerve-wracking.

Airplanes, ships, tanks - all superbly built.

Thank you, Rifleman, Sergio, Huxley and Don. I really enjoyed this build as well.

Though indeed as I probably expressed already, I'm feeling a little burnt out from this build, mostly out of the expectation that it should have finished quickly but then dragged on. Still, I did learn a lot of things and that's what I enjoy when building models.

Next I might finish the ELC in the photo. It had been really difficult to find a matching model paint for the French green, in the worst case scenario I would have to mix two cans of paint together somehow...

Truly an outstanding build. The added details were well worth the effort. I can understand your "feeling a little "burnt out" after such an undertaking.

I'm currently building some US military vehicles for a convoy but none of the kits are the same colour so I'm painting them all. I wasn't happy with the colour of the paint I bought, a Vallejo airbrush acrylic. While sourcing a large volume of a better colour it was suggested by a guy in a model group on facebook that I could just have an acrylic house paint colour matched at a local hardware store. We have a hardware chain here that can colour match any sample you take in then sell it to you as a 250ml sample pot for around $5.

It's worked out well, I bought a 500ml pot for $9 which needs to be watered down and will possibly last me forever. Just a thought.

I love what you've done with this model, especially your laser cut parts, I'm looking into the whole laser thing at the moment and have just posted a thread with some questions regarding laser cutters and would appreciate any insight you could offer.
