StuG IIIG

This is my current stage of build of a 1:35 scale Best Papermodels StuG IIIG. I'm taking my time, and all seems to be going together quite well - even with my build talent. Hopefully all will go well, and I will be able to post further pics - and not any of it going into a bin.

Looks great so far. The Stug is one of my favorite German armored vehicles, yet I've never built one. Will be watching with interest.

Thanks guys, I'll try not to let you down. (No pressure).
Here's an little update. Superstructure is on. As you can see, I have left the bottom plate of the hull off, thus giving me complete access to the vehicle's insides. This means I can get to glue flaps very easily.
I have noticed a slight graphics mistake on the fender section I still have to put on - one of the hinge plates is too far back for where the fender bends forward. Not a serious issue, just an observation. I will admit I am a little worried about the superstructure roof though 🤔. I just don't feel the shape is right, but I have constructed it correctly (I think).
Anyway, whatever, I will continue as I am enjoying the build.😸

Cupola cut and edge coloured. All I have to do is glue it all together.

Thanks guys. Model is kind of on 'hold' at the moment, but I will continue with it - promise.

Coming along very well - nice crisp folds, and inner strengthening to keep everything straight and true. Will you be able to correct the hinge plate problem?
