AR-15 Modernized build

Greetings fellas, i started on my AR yesterday so im pretty excited about how that will go. A friend of mine gave me a pdf with lot of parts for the rifle sliced in Rhino 3D so this will be a much easier build that expected.
I don't think the AR need's any introductions as it's an American classic.
I made the barrel so far but with reinforced connection where it will attach to the upper receiver (the thread on the end ) , it's made out of wire wrapped around, then paper around the wire then wire again and topped with paper again so the upper wire/paper parts can be unscrewed and it will sit in the receiver. It will make the connection stronger as paper cannot compare to metal but it will still attach at the barrel nut like the real one.
The barrel is just 2 tubes of paper, rolled then connected.
I will make a new muzzle becouse i don't like this one.
Gas block is also a rolled cilinder that slides on the barrel and a little cilinder on top to give the shape the covered with paper again. Still need to find what to use to make the gas tube. Back piece of the barrel is also rolled paper as you can see...a lot of it.
The cartridge is just a mockup, new ones will be made.
Next up is the lower receiver which will be modernized with integrated trigger guard and H&K fire/safe simbols.
Hope i do not bore you guys and have a nice day.

Super details! I like the threads made with wire/paper. Good idea.

Thanks guys it should be a lovely one. Had a day off so I had the whole day to build this bad boy. The lower receiver is almost finished, just the back piece where the buffer tube will attach is missing. Still have to sand everything to be smooth and apply some filler where needed. I got carried away so i haven't took photos of it coming together but you can see it's just a bunch of layers stacked together with parts cutout to create all the holes and recesses. I promise to take more photos during the build in the future. Next up should be the FCG or fire control group, bolt catch, mag release and captive pins. And the grip aswell. I forgot to engrave the symbols before the assembly and production markings so that should be a pain in the hind now but oh well. Also the grip and magazine are from Paper Manufacturing's AR but they are on just to motivate me.
Enjoy and have a beautifull day.

Not much happened these days, being a chef is pretty time consuming so i have little free time.
I finished the back loop where buffer tube will sit. Filled with wall filler and sanded but i still have to see how wil the finished surface look. The trigger, dissconnector and hammer are all working as they are supposed to. Auto sear, safety, bolt and magazine catch are still to be made as well as both pivot and takedown pins and little parts that are missing. The grip is in progress as well.
Soon the lower receiver will be done and I can continue onto the upper receiver. Any ideas what handguard to build for this rifle ? Thanks for watching.

A little update on the rifle if anyone is interested. I didn't take many build photos as usuall.
Most of the parts are done by now except some details on the upper receiver, front handguard and the bolt carrier group. The rest is just polishing the surface to look more unified and maybe some tactiCOOL stuff like PEQ 15 and a red dot or something like that.
I made a new muzzle brake and the gas tube is a brass pipe bent into shape.
Magazine is just a box made of two side pieces, front and back piece and surface details like the webbing on the sides, sanding paper pieces between the reccesed holes and letters on the bottom. It's supposed to be the polymer PMAG for 5.56. Follower, floor plate and bottom spring retainer are also just stacked shapes. Mock casings load nicely and strip very smoothly.
Buffer tube is standard carabine lenght paper tube with box shape at the bottom for the stock pin. The stock itself is also a tube with 2 smaller tubes around the big one and wrapped with paper. A pin on the bottom piece is pushed up by the sprint to lock it in position and the lever it's connected to just pivots and pulls the pin out.The rest is pretty obvious. The grip is stacked shapes sanded to be smooth and filled with some wall filler. Upper receiver is still in progress as you can see. Everything holds together tight and even better works and dissasembles like the real deal. One mistake i made is when i built the barrel i haven't noticed that the chamber with the locking lugs is supposed to be in the barell end, not a separate piece so that thing won't be inside the gun which means bolt won't lock with the barrel.
Sorry for the essay of info.
