Modelik Panzeratrappe

Decided to take a little break from my trailer Build. This one looked like a good candidate. It is a "dummy" tank built from a MOWAG armored car. It was used during training exercises.

Not a regular build thread here. So far, everything fits like a glove with only a minor trim here or there as needed.

Should be an interesting model.
I've never heard about this vehicle.
Good luck!

More than half way through the part numbers.

Added some of the rear details and built up the axles to get me through part number 30.

Parts 31 - 40.

This last group brings me to the end of this short but enjoyable build. Fit was very good. The only thing I would adjust if I built this again would be to trim about 1 mm from each end of the rear axle box, just to give the rear tires a little clearance with the side skirts. I would also point out that the front axle tie rod pattern is a bit short, and I had to lengthen it to get the tires to line up and not toe out from each other. Both items are minor issues. I recommend this as a good first build of a pre-printed model.

Nice work!
We rarely see such unusual vehicles like this one, so thanks for posting it.
