1/50 Israel Police Ford Fairmont
Here's the model I've just finished.
It's a Ford Fairmont of the Israel Police. They used these cars in the late 1970s and early 1980s. I didn't plan to build this vehicle but when I was looking for some B&W photos of the old IDF equipment I came across this Ford and I thought it would be an excellent choice for my next project. That's how it began... The model is based on free FDS kit. I resized it to 1/50, repainted and also modified to make it more accurate.

Very nice model. Did you foil cover the bumpers in some way?

Thanks Ray and Don.
No, they're just painted chrome silver(X-11 Tamiya acrylic).

Thanks, Sergio.
The next 1/50 I'll build is an Egyptian BRDM-2, from Six-Day War 1967. Now there's a lot of time to do some abandoned projects.
