Looking great so far, interesting repaint.

Wheels are finished. Finally.
They took me some time as I worked really slow and didn't rush.
Not to mention that sometimes I just get a total lag and I can't make any progress because of that...

Anyway, the wheels are done so let's focus on that.
They're almost entirely from scratch as the side textures were the only thing taken from the kit. Tire treads and white bands are the parts which I designed in Inkscape.
Like always, photos will tell you the rest.

Yes, the treads are always a tedious work. If I remember correctly, I spent about two hours on them. Something like 30 minutes for each one. But it doesn't matter as the final result is a great reward for that hard work.

Ok, it's time for another update. The underside is finished, wheels are attached.
I started the upper hull. At the last moment I decided to print a new one, with my another small modification(somehow I forgot to do one thing). This new version has the turret position lines removed. The original model was supposed to have the turret glued permanently in the default position and honestly, I didn't like this idea. I want to make the turret rotatable.

Thankfully, I've got a printer at home so I can change anything at anytime and get the corrected parts instantly. This is especially good these days.

Anyway, here's what has been done with BRDM-2.

Excellent Kacper, it looks great. The rotating turret will give more "life" to the model, very good decision.

Today I continued my work on the Egyptian BRDM-2.
I've added more details. Mostly those that were not included in the kit, like some hatches. The original model model had only those that are on the top.
The side peepholes are parts that I had to design from zero. They were not even drawn on the side armor.

This project is quite a challenge, I have to say. As it's original scale was 1/100, there's obviously a lot of work to turn it into a nice 1/50 scale model.

Your add-ons look like part of the original model. Those side windows must have been tough - getting compound angles right is always a challenge without software to do the hard work for you.
