40MM Bofors twin Anti Aircraft Gun
Howdy,
Sharing three build photos. Used stretched plastic sprue in making seat support structure. RINGS AAARGUH! Getting ready to mount the tiny twin guns onto the 40MM paper base and noticed a 50 ring call out on the parts page for the gun barrels. Section length is 22/32 inch. Rings were made using a narrow paper strip. Step by step instructions would be a big help on this Bofors. BP |

40 MM Bofors completed.

纸模、纸模型、3D纸模、中华纸模、中华纸模网、纸模网 、Papermodel、Cardmodel - Powered by Discuz! Kudos to the designer giving us a challenging build resulting in a neat display model of the premier anti-aircraft gun of all time. Printed two letter size parts pages. Made the base and two guns. Figured it best to print a bit larger on 67 lb for better understanding since there are no step by step instructions. However, Illustrations with call-outs are provided with the download. Finished model size: 3 7/8 Inches long 2 1/2 inches high and wide. If there are any, I probably broke a few paper modeling rules because I used items other than paper to complete this model: Straight wire Guitar G string for cables. Stretched plastic sprue for seat support structure. Luckily the guns didn't need 25 rings, BP |

Wow, what a cool model! Very well done Bob. Indeed as Don puts it "a famous piece of ordnance".

Great-looking model and excellent work.
Looks like it's very fragile. Are you going to paint it? Would be more realistic.
