M24 Chaffee - WAK 11/2008 1:25
Hello everyone.
It's been some time since I've had something to share with you all here on the forum but please know that I have been quietly building away in the background. My latest kit is WAK's M24 Chaffee tank in 1:25 scale. I began building this model in May of 2019 and added the final details to it earlier today - so a year and a half later it's done. I did take a few production pictures along the way and posted a few updates on the Facebook group but for those of you who have not seen this before - please enjoy. First, I have to thank Greg Perry for this kit. He gave it to me years ago at one of the first Army Heritage Day events in Carlisle, PA. Overall this is a very nice kit and it goes together quite well. The overall fit is excellent and the diagrams are easy to understand. I would recommend this to anyone with a few kits under their belt. Enough talk -enjoy the pictures. |

Another magnificent model, Kevin.
I remember when you first saw this model. It was at the very first Paper Modelers at Army Heritage Days Event at the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center in 2009. You, Greg, Rick, and I were sitting around looking at models. Rick's comment on the WAK Chaffee was, "This model has a LOT of very little pieces." It was also the event at which you displayed Maddy's father-and-daughter C-141. http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/45435-post36.html I also remember when Greg gave you the Sheridan. It's terrific to see the model assembled. It will look great along with your Dragon Wagon and Sherman at next year's Paper Modelers at Army Heritage Days event. Don |

I get the distinct impression that the Colonel, is making me out to be a pot stirrer.
