Beautiful wheels, and boy oh boy, what a work! "View on infinite and mind to zero" as we say in Dutch. Well, we say it differently of course, but it simply means "don't think, just go" .

What great work, I always admit those people who are building armory models so many small pieces, especially with wheels and tracks ...

Just wow! I greatly admire your craftsmanship, patience, and perseverance. Each wheel is a model on its own. How many individual pieces of paper make up each one? I too hope to see your progress at Carlisle this year.

Thank you all for taking a few minutes to check out my progress and posting the warm words of encouragement. I continue to move forward. Currently, I'm about halfway through construction of the return rollers so hopefully my next update won't be too far away.

So far each wheel half is made up of 17 pieces. Plus there are still two more pieces to add, a center hub cap and a spacer that will attach between the inside and outside halves. After some quick math, (16 road wheels + 2 spares) x 2 halves x17 components = 612 plus 18 center hub caps and 18 spacers, I come up with a total of 648 pieces! |
