Tatra 111C / 1:48 / scratch build

Hi, I would like to introduce my new project. I have started another truck model from Czechoslovakia. This time model presents Tatra 111C which was used at the airfiled to refuel airplanes. Model will be again in scale 1/48 with full interior and simplified frame and wheels. I think that 3D model is quite nice looking and hopefully papermodel will look the same :-)

I love this project, the 111 is one of my all-time favorites! I have never realized, that with this one the cowling has no lamellae, but You are absolut right with this detail
Do You know by the way, this report from Pardubice about restauration of one of this kind? I found many of the pictures there very helpful!

Hi guys, after a while I have started with paper model of my Tatra 111. I have started with frame which is a bit simplified and wheels. Some parts are really tiny due to scale but till now I haven't found any parts that would be changed. I hope you like it so far and next pics will follow after wkd.







I hope that this model will be published in next Aero Model magazine by Jakab Publishing s.r.o, letecka historie. together with MiG-19S model, so you can create small diorama at airport

I have finished my Tatra 111C model. I hope you like my 2nd truck model and I already have some ideas for next models
