Finnish BT-7

Here's the model which is a result of teamwork, result of my work and result of my grandson's work. Once again, I did the building part, he did the whole paintwork and photos.

The model is a 1/25 scale BT-7 from the old Maly Modelarz kit(released in 1968). I built it in 2019, I think. Then I handed it over to my grandson. Unfortunately, he didn't have enough time to finish this tank and the project titled "Finnish BT-7" had to wait. Until today. Couple hours ago I received a call from my grandson and he said: "BT-7 is finished, photos are on your email. We can post them on Papermodelers.". I was really surprised!

It's great to see this BT-7 finished as I've never seen anything Finnish in 1/25 scale in paper before.
My grandson, Kacper(PacificWind), will also probably add a few more words tomorrow.

Very nice model.I was hoping this is a recolor of original but it's nicely painted .Very good effort Zenon and Kacper.

I know that kit. It(along with T-34/76 from about the same period) was copied many, many times in days long before internet and results varied. All of those copies were painted. Some kits from those days were on permanent display in one of Warsaw technical museums .

What can I add here... The paints used for the Finnish camouflage are Tamiya acrylics:
XF-58 Olive Green
XF-57 Buff
XF-64 Red Brown

Other paints, those used for details, tracks, etc., are:
Pactra A46 Black Matt
Tamiya X-11 Chrome Silver
AMMO MIG-044 Chipping
Phoenix Artist's Acrylic Value Series 455 Cerulean Blue
Tamiya XF-2 Flat White

I don't know if it's useful for anyone but... let it be.

This BT-7 was also painted entirely by brush. For the swastikas I used a template as it would be quite difficult to paint them without something like this...

Nah... I would never even try to recolor digitally a 1/25 tank into a camo like this. There're way too many parts and it's really easy to misalign the colors.
