Very clean work. The enlargement worked well.

Thanks, Don. As I stated at the beginning of this project, this is not only a simple enlargement but also a scratchbuild. 1/50 scale requires some modifications over the original kit. This new update might be a good example...
Today I installed the idler wheels, sprocket wheels and bogies with road wheels. Original kit had only a 2D imitation of them which would look awful on my model. Stuart is a tank with an open running gear so it was necessary to make this running gear three-dimensional. Running gear is not finished yet and it will probably take me something like 3 more days to complete it. Then I'll have to focus again on the hull, and also, on the turret.

Thanks, Sergio.
Running gear is almost finished. Today I installed the return rollers. Now there are only two missing parts and both tracks.

Kacper, magnificent work on the running gear. This part for me is I think that can change the appearance of an armored vehicle according to the chosen detail. In the WoT I always choose the detailed train, I even have the habit of drilling everything that my sight allow, even parts that are not seen later🙄

Ok, now let's go back to M3A1. It's almost finished. Today I installed all the remaining parts, details of the hull. There's only one thing left, and obviously, it's the turret.

And here's the turret.
Stuart is completed in 99%. Now I just have to apply the varnish and maybe install the antenna too.

Extraordinary Kacper work, everything looks great. 100% agree with you in reference to the running gear, I particularly enjoy the assembly, but the repetitive cutting at a certain point saturates, I am just with the Stug III, very complete, I have been several days and still I did not get to the middle.
I admire large scale builders, their patience is remarkable. |
