1/25 M3A1 Scout Car

Here's my newest model. M3A1 Scout Car from WAK, scale 1/25. Like the most of my models in this scale, it's painted, weathered, and modified a bit - some parts are replaced by the scratchbuilt ones, etc.
It took me 2 months to finish it. This kit is definitely not for beginners. I'd recommend it only for the experienced modelers. During the building process you may encounter many problems, mostly with fitting. In short, it's just really difficult to put everything together and make it look nice. Some acrylic putty was also necessary on fenders.

Great looking model - but why do companies release kits where the parts don't fit properly?

Actually, a lot of models have this problem. In old kits, like most of MMs, it was caused by the fact they were hand-drawn. Nowadays, as the models are being designed digitally, with special software, I believe the problem is caused by something else. What fits perfectly on computer, doesn't necessarily fit in reality. Some models are also not tested. And some, even when tested before publishing, are often printed on different paper, different than the one used for models put on sale.
