1:50 VK16.02 Leopard (Alexkung71)
Good day,
Currently building the VK16.02 Leopard, sometimes others call it "Baby Panther" or "Mini Panther" was a planned WWII German light scout tank in 1941 armed with the similar turret and same 50mm gun of the Sd.kfz. 234/2 "Puma". No prototypes of the tank were ever built. The model is designed by Alexander Vasilyevich (Alexkung71) and is available at "Paper Tanks" vk album: (https://vk.com/papertanks?z=album-44399115_166606618), the album has many other AFVs designed by them. |

The Panzer is finished. I inserted a toothpick under the turret to connect it to the body enabling rotation of the turret. Some parts I did were sloppy. The tank cannon and rear exhausts have some wear marks. I can't quite roll long and small pieces without stressing them, still need to practice on that and I could not get the left tracks to sit flush on the rear idler wheel.
Overall, an enjoyable experience building the model. It builds up to a nice looking little recon tank. Happy Holidays to all! |
