Modelik M2 Bradley build

Well, despite my reluctance to start a build thread (I build really slowly and tend to lose interest....), I have decided to show my build on this.... I pretty much chose it because it had a bit of an interior, but was not "Halinski crazy". Not going to be many revelations here.... I tend to be a "build out of the box" kind of guy... Anyway, here is the cover:

Next up is the formers:

More later!

Great subject, Chris. Look forward to watching it all come together....even if it does take a long time. We're not going anywhere.

Great start! One of these days I'll have to screw up my courage and try armour.

You'll find that doing a build thread will really encourage sticking with the project. Nothing like a sympathetic and enthusiastic audience to increase your enjoyment and stretch your abilities.

This is a great start on this interesting subject.
I too have always wanted to try an armor kit (after riding in enough I should know them by heart), but just couldn't get there. I look forward to following this thread to see how it is done.
Thanks for sharing!

This looks cool! The Reserve always parks a Bradley and a Humvee at the fair every year for the kids to climb into, my son and I love it!

Actually, that is one of the reason I decided to start a thread... Couple of years ago I did a thread on a Grant tank for Gremir and actually completed it! Posting pictures kept me at it...

And thanks everyone for the comments and encouragement!

Any way, here are some more pictures. Started the interior build. Most of this will not be seen very well once it is all put together, but I will know it's there!

Note the in the edges on the green. After building several in semi-dark, I realized the pencil I was using was not really close, so I went out and got some paint....

Another thing about this model is the instructions. They are in Polish, so do me little good and the drawings can be confusing at times (I almost put the whole framework together that would have made it very difficult to build the interior. After some confusion, I looked for a build on another forum. I found one on a German forum that had enough pictures to make it clear to me.... Glad we have so many other modellers out there!

Clasher... If you want to ensure color matching. Pick up an Ottlite. They can be a bit expensive.

You will have natural light any time of day.

They are great!! They're not bad for build photos either. You can usually find a 40% or 50% off coupon for Michaels or Joann's and get one that way. They also sell off brand natural lighting bulbs these days, I've picked those up at Joann's and Home Depot. I've got to get another one this weekend, mine just burned out tonight.
