Well, I got the cabs finished and installed along with the bumper and engine cover. I had to use a bit of super glue to get everything affixed in the right place.

Then I started building the second "module" behind the cab. Not really sure what is contained in this module. What started as a straight forward build-up quickly turned into more fit issues.

As I was test fitting this on the frame the exhaust kept getting in the way. Investigation shows the exhaust routes through this module on the real vehicle but no provisions for such are given. So I have shortened the exhaust to where it would enter the module and will add exhaust pipe to the outside surface of the module to fix it.

Then there is the top front skin piece that is supposed to sit down into a cutout on the forward bulkhead. Problem is, there is no cutout in the bulkhead (?). So I made one. Then I had to proceed to cut the skin piece into sections to narrow it. Now I have a mess trying to get everything to play nice...

Glad to see work continuing on this major project, Greg.

Kevin has finished the wheels to his Dragon Wagon trailer and says he will start work on the actual trailer soon.

The saga continues with fit issues and incorrect parts. But I'm getting closer to finishing this "module." I still have a couple fenders to install and a bunch of hand holds and tie down loops.

The vent guard on the left side was too long and needed massaged to fit the side contour a little.

The plate and L shaped trim piece: Um yeah. Easy fix, but really?

Despite the difficulties you are encountering, and overcoming. the build is looking great Greg. I look forward to each post from you and it's rare that I don't learn something, either from your narrative or from pictures. Keep 'em coming.

Still lagging on my progress reporting.

The second "pod" section (I believe one side holds batteries) is finished. It's not perfect, but it'll do for me.

The control station section is next. The drawings for the subframe are confusing and show two different orientation of parts. Of course I built it the wrong way and had to cut it apart and re work it to the correct configuration to match the skins.

The left side control station has the most equipment but does not indicate the location of the seat inside. The right side control station does have mounting locations, so I used these to locate the left side.

The right side control panel box was not drawn correctly. The white parts need to be located on the bent side of the side flaps. I cut off the sides, laminated them on cardboard and re-oriented the white parts. I also trimmed back the bottom shelf piece that interfered with the seat in this side. I also had to guess on handles for the lower panel portion that had locations for them but no pattern.

So I finished the control module portion and the bracket component that fits in between the battery box and control module. For the most part, fit was OK.

I had to work on the bracket component tubes since they did not fit as per design or diagram.

I installed all three of these subassemblies to the frame. to get a better appearance, I also glued the cabs in place. They weren't really going to pivot very well anyway.

So far, all the doors work. this was a happy success.

At this stage, I need to divert my attention elsewhere, so this one goes back on the shelf for a bit.

Good work. Sure wish you could find a way to Carlisle for the 1 April or 20-21 May events so I could see it in person.

This one is back on the bench. Started cutting out formers for the aft section. Pictures later since my phone doesn't want to cooperate.
