Cool treads and super build - but like already said, i too hope that the parts of this model go easy on you, cos it's hard enough to build without having to correct any faults in the model - i wish you good luck my friend

Greg,

Nice start on this beast! Man, you sure have a lot of stuff on your table, but at least it is organized! Even the bottle of pain medication there on the right. Let me know if you need any scans or a second interpretation on the instructions... I have this one on the pile.

Ken

The next protion of the build is the steering system. Here are the assemblies for part number 2. Other than a missing lamination notation for the aft steering arm, there were no real issues with assembly. Careful studying of the drawings is required though to get component orientation correct.

Parts 3 through 10. The mounts for the linkages are not parallel to the ground like I thought they should be. Makes all the geometry kinda weird and suspect. Everything moves OK, so I guess its alright. Here's hoping.

Part 9 is a rolled piece that is supposed to have the ends cut and drilled to pin to the linkages on each side. I smashed it and rounded the ends instead. It was easier to do this way and gives the part more strength in the long run.

More progress on the steering linkage. Up through parts 14. So far everything moves, hope this works out in the end. Part 14 mounts on the right inside frame, but no locating marks are provided, so one has to determine this on their own. Because parts 12 through 14 have to be aligned with each other, all of them need to be constructed and mounted carefully at the same time.

This is WAY more detailed than Dragon's 1/35 plastic kit. WOW!
