Hi Sidewinder81777,

I've put the Pulse rifle on the back burner at the moment... as I've started to build the Dragnunov. (you inspired me with your great build)

Just a query, how did you make the inside of the barrel black? I was thinking of using black spray paint, but I think this will make the paper wet.

What! Are you kidding me! Wow! That is nice! I sure hope someday I can build as clean as you.

I'm thinking out loud maybe I should ask you to test build my next beta if I ever get it done.

Pika: I just colored the inside of the barrel with a sharpie marker
Duck: depending on the subject matter I may very well be interested, shoot me a PM if you want

Thanks for the reply Sidewinder81777.

on a sad note, I stuffed up the internal middle section as i did not compensate for the thickness of the paper... :( ...but on a positive note, it can't be seen from the outside

I have to admit, Jules Dragunov is an amazing and complex papercraft... but trying to build this thing as best as Sidewinder's version is really hard... :( ...but will continue on building it.

The next part is the trigger and magazine... haven't forgotten Sidewinders tip of internal reinforcing... any tips?

on the triggerguards I always laminte the side pieces to thick card then when you glue on the inner/outer strips the thickness of the regular and imm card gives ample gluing surface

Thanks for the tip...

Trigger and Magazine sections done... Internal reinforcing was a bit tricky, but managed to get it done. It's a bit heavy now... so not sure what it's going to be like when placed on the bipod section.

Now on to the rifle butt...
then the sight... I'm dreading the telescopic sight... it looks really tricky...
