Orlik JT-34

there must be something wrong with me. a bunch of new stuff arrives and it has a tank in it
and that damn song
im so excited starts playing
and the next thing i know the partially built ship is off the bench in a box, replaced with the unbuilt tank model...

do i got jeckel and hyde tank building personality?
but i hear it whispers the precious has laser cut formers and treads.
and has no stinky ship hulls to build... we wants it.. the precious..

gods man then i realise i have the camera in my hands and kitty nodding in approval from her command chair...

im just a puppet i know.. but i must build the precious...

:( its a tank must build....

i can all allready tell this is going to be fun like i want.

there are no written instructions. there are only photo assembly
and thats ok because there are alot

and we get right to it. first part is some kind of tank wheel spring assembly thing. and yeah we get to build the spring from wire ont he first part

party time!!!

it took a few frustrations and some kat treats to get it right and it looks neato painted black i think it will look swell when its placed in frame.

:D

oddly enought i just couldnt find any thing the paper would form around at the right diameter till i found some old fiber optic
lol and it is perfect even solid enough to twist the copper around it.

i think i messed up getting oil sticks for edge color but they were out of water color at wallys we will see how it goes!

Great start on the model, the spring looks cool.

Looking forward to this one.... If the cat gets tired whispering "Build the JT-34", I will take it's place! Good start, looking forward to this one!

BTW, does anyone know the difference between this version and Orlik's earlier version? When the original came out, I was forced to buy it, but somehow resisted the little voices telling me to build this....

Ditto! Why did Orlik redo this one in the same scale? Is the older one not easy to build?
