How to cut

Ok, thanks to Chris (cgutzmer) I got the tutorials from Carl (golden bear) from the old site. I copied and pasted the first one into the article section here. Look ok before I do the other 2?

Wow, that looks good. I was on a roll that day. I hope that it means something to somebody. Every time I build I realize how there are so many things that I have learned the hard way that I use to try to get things right. Cutting seems so simple but it is so easy to mess up without even realizing the effects... ever.

I noticed the differences when I cut, but I never spent the time to think about what the results are :D
Useful guide!
