rice glue
I found a recipe for rice glue, I read it is used a lot in Japanese paper craft & kanzashi ( traditional hair ornaments)
I was just wondering Has anyone used it? How does it perform as a glue? Can it be used as a protective coat? |

I reckon it's just starch... kinda like the glue used when I was in kindergarten and primary school... safe to eat! lol
I dunno how it'll last though... stuff glued with it seems to break apart after time - maybe it's just the humid weather we have over here. |

I have now found a few different recipes, some are complex & others are very simple, the only problem is now I have more questions, which one is best for what use or are they all equal?
here is one that is simple, if I try some this may be the one. How to Make Rice Glue: 6 steps (with pictures) - wikiHow I remember that paste from kinda, I think I got in trouble for eating it, if rice glue performs the same as that I don't think I will try it as a glue or eating. |

Rice glue and Moshi (Japanese Rice Candy) are pretty similar. Add a dab of bean paste to your Rice Glue and you can serve it as desert.
Enjoy!!!!!!! (Links to a Moshi factory paper model are posted on this site) |
