Plastic-oops !

Hi ;
Listen , I am sorry if I mentioned the bad word starting with a pl . I was trying to indicate where certain models have been seen by me over the years. I am not saying we should go there . I do because until 1995 I didn't know paper-models even existed !
Now that I do, I prefer them way over their pl , counterparts . Besides in paper , there's way more of a selection in my favorite genre - Ships . And buildings for H.O. and N. trains .
I am the kind of person who will mention a source not worrying about material .I just want to be helpful .Will you all please accept my apology for the blunder ? Please? Papersurprise 50

Gary,

Most of us are former plastic modelers, I still look at the Squadron catalog.

And I still have kits that I want to build

mentioning plastic is not a bad thing, but we do have fun with it

Right! Nudge, nudge, Wink-Wink!!

TBH, I came to paper looking for 'patterns' for building stuff in plastic sheet... which is still part of my evil plan! Bwaahahaaaha!

Hello papersurprise50

You've probably started this discussion just because on my response on other thread about plastic models?
Must say I've made such impression just because I saw that earlier You were writing about some plastic ship models and a bit later that thread was deleted. I thought maybe administrators made such decision?

Probably I need to reed forum rules much carefully or maybe someone can describe are there any restriction according this issue?

Thanks.

There is no restriction on the mention of plastic on this forum.

I know I have not deleted any threads or posts of you, about anything.

You mention plastic all you want, there are people who use plastic sheets and paper model templates to make their own RC ships or planes

Rick

Thanks Rick,

then I apologize to everyone for this "mess". It is just because I've made an incorrect judgement.

Sorry

I would agree that most of us here have built both paper and plastic models.
I personally have 3 paper models and 3 plastic models all in progress at the same time! I've even got a hybrid, a kit that's half plastic and half paper. And a paper model I tried to design but put aside for "someday". My wife thinks I should finish them up one at a time, but what's the fun in that? And what of the stacks of both paper and plastics that are as yet unstarted but calling out to me to start? Or the flash drives with the 50 or so that haven't been printed yet?
I suppose I should start eating better. I'm going to have to live a long time to build all these.
