Looking for Boeing-Stearman
I'm looking for the model of this beautiful biplane in scale 1/33 or 1/32. I always wanted to have it in my collection. Reminds me iconic movie, Tora! Tora! Tora!

Here's another one.
Boeing PT-17 Stearman - Army Trainer Plane Paper Model The model looks pretty good but the engine needs modification, it looks like the one on the model is nine cylinder, and the ones that are there are not round. Beard |

Thank you for a big help. Maybe I'll make one from fiddlers green in this year. Now I'm working on F4U Corsair, so in next hours i'm gonna start workshop thread.

Hi
It seems that I chose the wrong option. I am finishing this purchased plane and although the engines are round, but it has only 7 which is a mistake. So the correct option is to do the Paper-Replika but redesigning the nine motors as round. |

The PT-17 engine only had seven cylinders.

I don't know much about plane details, but the Stearman is a very good looking one. And the Paper-Replika model will please your wills. I made two of them and I'm really satisfied.
About the engine, Here I leave a picture for details.

I believe the early ones had 7 cylinders, Jacobs or continental. Some were upgraded to 9 cylinder Pratt & Whitney. Some Stearman even have cowlings taken from Beech 18.
