talk about paper soldier figures
Hello,
For this kind of model (only soldiers) I think that the better scales are between 1/25 and 1/48 or 1/50. The result is more realistic. Higher 1/25 is possible but I don't like it cos paper has limits in order to represent human body. Under 1/48 or 1/50, it's an other technic (possible but I'm not Doris "Miss fingers fairy"lol). Wait for your comments, ideas, advises, criticism Good WE Faithfully Valmy PS : I think it's possible to approach the aspect of the classic toysoldiers. "Yes we can !" Gaming is done in smaller scales, such as 1/72, using 2D paper soldiers.

I use both 1:50 and 1:35 for my figurines Valmy. 1:50 is very close to 35mm scale, common for fantasy wargaming (all Wizards of the Coast figures, as well as Reaper (despite their claim to 28mm) are).
1:72 is good too, especially for 2d. I'd not want to make 3d figurines at that scale due to compression of size-model. Tirick

Hello Tirick,
I've looked what you do and I find that your figures are very fine and precise. I'm agree with you with 1/72 : Paper has limits. Faithfully Valmy |

It seems that it's possible to work in 3d with 1/72. Look at the link under :
