I think it is a Ruvian pre Dreadnought. Not a lot of photos on those.

No.......... This is Roman's P-26 Peashooter distributed by him at Digital Navy............
Great designer................Great plane.............. Yes I cheated............... I build this one a very long time ago...........it was one of my first non-FG models.............I loved it then and I just needed to get back to some fine quality design work...........coloration........correct panel lines.............parts that fit together like a glove............ If you see anything wrong with this one it's MY FAULT! Its time to have so fun putting together a good model.................... john |

Oooooh, you're doing the really pretty one! You forgot to mention that you get three for the price of one from DN (Blue/Yellow, Olive/Yellow and Philippine Air Force). This is a super model (as are all of Digital Navy's products). <<unsolicited, uncompensated testimonial - I already have all his models>>

Thanks for reminding me Ron............Roman's P-26 come with three, count them 3 versions for one money.
All are wonderfully detailed and a joy to put together............... In honor of the best Super Bowl game in almost a zillion years............well in a loooong time............here are some more pictures for you to hopefully enjoy.............. Hey...............two different Mississippi boys Quarterbacked two different teams to consecutive Super Bowl victories..........don't think that has happened before. Pictures are in no particular order.............. john |

Beautiful, John!
And yes, it was a great Super Bowl. We didn't have a dog in that fight, so we rooted for whoever was behind at any particular time. I couldn't believe that last New York touchdown and would have been equally pleased if the Patriots had made the field goal in the last 25 seconds. Don |

Peyton is a graduate of the U of Tennessee and only Eli followed dad to U of Mississippi and both were born in Louisana, seeing that Dad played for the Saints there Rick

I like this plane... and a nice build of it like this is. I hope that Ron noticed that you are not afraid to put guy wires on your models.
Although an Eagles fan, I ended up rooting for the hated Giants in the playoffs because of how they treated the last game of the season - playing their starters for the entire game against the Pats. It just seemed like a different attitude towards competition than we usually see. OTOH I would have been glad to stop the chirping from the former Dolphins, so it was going to be a good outcome either way. Carl |
