Very nice build Shrike. Glad I was able to help out if only in a small way.

A very nicely-built model of a great airplane! It was fun to watch you build it and to deal with the issues that arose (or collapsed) in the process.

I hope you have another pre-1941 USAAC or USN airplane in the queue.

Have you ever built a Shrike, Shrike?

I'm thinking primarily of the A-8, YA-10, A-12 Shrikes, but the XA-14, A-18 Shrikes were very beautiful, too, and rather like the Kawasaki Ki-45 Toryu in appearance. The A-25 Shrike was also a great-looking airplane, but there are already a number of SB2Cs around.

An A-8 has been in the works for quite some time, but every time I think I have it down something comes up to distract me, or I learn more tricks, or I get new software. I've lost count of the times I've redesigned the spats<G>. Right now I have a version that's waiting for me to figure out the wing fillets

After that a YA-10 is a simple matter, and an A-12 wouldn't be much more.

I suppose I should push ahead warts and all, eh?

A Shrike build would be fascinating, and maybe encourage more interwar AAC models?

You really want me to get distracted don't you? I do have a set of drawings for an A-18. And for the Beech XA-38 Grizzly for that matter.

Lets see I need to:
Do instructions on the 1:33 ANT-23 (I-12)
Do instructions on the 1:50 Junkers E328
Finish the design on the A-8
Do instructions for the A-8
Redo it as an A-10
Recolour that as an XS2C-1
Get the cockpits and nacelles squared away on the B-9

And I have a Br695 perking away as well.

I think I may actually have Will beat as ADD afflicted designer<G>

Okay. I won't make any more suggestions -- except to say that I hope the Breguet will be in Vichy colors. Leaving aside the nature of the Vichy regime, I love those red and yellow cowlings and tail stripes.
