Thank you guys.
As I said it is a really minor issue that could be easily fixed by somebody with a steady hand and the brush. Look at photo #2 - part of the red warning marking is covered by the fillet and the very bottom part of the white band around Hinomaru is also covered.

Gosh, that's beautiful work, Mike. The issue of the fillet covering a very small part of the white Hinomaru marking and the wing walk outline is really not noticeable.

Arrrrrggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh..........
 Month passed before I had a chance to spend some quality time with the Zero. Hopefully I will be able to proceed in a more consistent fashion ... Finished the canopy (Gomix) and started on the undercarriage - I made stupid mistake earlier and had to reverse the struts.... Wheels were salvaged from another plastic Zero and I will try to utilize the engine if it can fit under the cowling

Added bomb rack and the 250kg bomb
There are no markings where to glue the bomb fins or how to position the bomb on the rack, and the location of the bomb rack is not marked on the fuselage. All this can be resolved from the drawings but it's a blemish on an otherwise excellent design.

A bit of progress to report...
First photo shows salvaged plastic engine that fitted very nicely under the cowling. Second photo - cowling might use at least one more ring to get better shape but I was able to round the two provided to avoid those flat surfaces designer intended, Third photo shows two tools I found extremelly useful. Both found on Ebay but I don't remember the name for the big one. Something with to do with lathes... Smaller one is an embedding tool. They are perfect for rounding those flat rings over the mouse pad to get a more 3D look.

Mike that looks pretty cool. That blue thing you can get at the chain craftshops ac moore, michaels, in what they call paper craft departments. They call the blue tool a paper burnisher, funny that's what we use it for. sometimes they hide the neatest tools in the scrap booking supplies.
