My first GPM build
Ron is forbidden from answering but lets see how long it takes to guess what this is. Thew fit is definately better than the last model I built but so far it's not quite as accurate as I was expecting from GPM.

I can't guess, but whatever it is, I am very interested in this build, as my next model after the Trolleri MM Hampden is going to be the GreMir/GPM Ki-44 Shoki, and I also have a GPM Ki-100 under consideration. Assuming there is some similarity among the models, I will be watching your experience closely. Don

Mike -- Good thing Dan doesn't have that line copyrighted. Don
Will -- I'm thinking fairly small cockpit tub with wing spar just forward of the cockpit instrument panel, so probably a fairly small single seater of the WWII era, give or take five years; probably military; looks like a mid-wing layout; green zinc-chromate rather than transparent blue-green or RLM gray interior so probably not Japanese or German. Wild shot: F8F Bearcat? Don

I'm thinking that the diagram in the upper left corner of the picture corresponds with the build. I'm scratching my head trying to come up with a pointed-nose, straight-wing jet with either engines on the wings or possibly intakes in such a position that allows full fuselage shape from front to rear (the back is cut off, so I can't tell if there's a nozzle there or not). It's probably something I should know...
Of course I could be wrong about the pic being for this build, but I don't think so. Edit - and of course wings must come straight from under the cockpit.

Don gets the prize. Which is nothing but pride perhaps. Good job.
Decided to build it since it was fairly simple no separate control surfaces fairly simple engine and not a lot of fiddly little details. Gripes so far include no alignment marks on the former in front of the cockpit tub to indicate where it mounts and the front of the tub was not quite the same shape as the front former. It was a little easier to figure out where the aft former mounted but there is a portion of the tub sticking above the former which may be on purpose but I kind of don't like it. We'll see how the rest turns out.

The long skinny late war USN style drop tank may have helped<G> It had me thinking F7F until I noticed where the spar was sticking out.
